Budgets, Sources of Funding and All Things $$$

Full Disclosure

We operate on the principle of full disclosure and transparency in all of our business.

Although Courage to Change Housing is a new program for us, our parent organization has been in business in Snohomish County since 1983.  We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, EIN number 91-1191804,and all donations are tax deductible.

We currently operate one home in Snohomish County, housing 30 people.  The required housing contribution for a semi-private room is $500.00 a month.  You may be eligible for housing vouchers provided by third-party agencies.  For more information please use our contact page.

Right now we are only paying the rent and some small expenses; no salaries or paid counselors, which we would like to have in the future. Click here for a copy of our 501 (c) 3 determination letter.

Can you help?

Sometimes a client who is doing well at recovering has his or her 90 day voucher run out, before they are really ready for a job.  Sometimes we need more supplies than we can afford.  Sometimes the house needs more food.

All donations are tax deductible and go to helping with expenses for housing clients.  If you wish, you may designate the purpose of your donation.  Once you fill in the amount, you may write your instructions on the next screen.  THANK YOU for supporting our most vulnerable community members.

Funding

The age-old problem of how to pay for all the services needed by our vulnerable clients is ever-present.  Although clients pay their own housing contributions through social service vouchers, sponsorships or private pay, many expenses, such as house supplies, utilities, transportation, and case management are not covered.  For these, we need to raise funds.

If you would like to help support our mission of lending a hand to those most in need, please click on the donate button below. All donations are tax-deductible. We appreciate your generosity.
